FEDERAL IMMIGRATION & NATIONALITY ACT;
NOT BROKEN.
Our immigration enforcement laws target illegal aliens. Duh? Isnít that what it is supposed to do? Our immigration enforcement laws are not broken. If works well if it is enforced. If itís not enforced, it does not work. And that is what the Obamanites want. Change the Federal Immigration and Nationality Act if our government donít want to recognize it and enforce it.
Things like SB1070 happens when the Feds donít do their job.
We must secure our border and we must secure inside our borders. Security does not end AT the border, it begins at the border by the Feds. Our southern border has moved 80 miles inland because the border has not been secured.

"Our immigration enforcement laws are not broken. If works well if it is enforced. "

You are exactly correct.

Correct me if Im wrong, but did Candidate Obama pledge to clean-up Immgration problems in his first term?

Its seems to me, that not even McCain and Palin did that. In fact Candidate Palin in a interview During the campain said.

To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?

I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

And what has Obama done so far?
Oh yeah his aunt received refugee status. Haitians received refugee status.
He diverted money and man power to the Canadian border.
He has proposed a form of amnesty for illegals.
But really anything tangible as yet? Oh yes thats right. No border security until he gets his reform wish list satisfied.
You see I am not interested in what Palin or Mc flip says because they are not the president.

Which is just one of the reasons I have no use for either Palin or McCain.

He promised immigration reform. Unless he has a crystal ball and knows for a fact that he will have a second term, when did he plan to deliver if not during his first term in office?

If by granting amnesty means cleaning up immigrant issues, then yes, you are correct.

McCain/Palin wanted amnesty as well.

Im not fighting Obama's immigration battles, but it seems to me, if he had no agenda to work on immigration issues, why expect him to focus on immigration now?

If Candidate Obama had said, "Im going to do all I can to fix immgration in my first year in office", then I would say..hes not doing much; but since that wasnt the case with Candidate Obama...what is the big surprise?
