Y'know what? He knew what the job entailed when he took it. If he can't handle it, then he should find other employment that will pander to his "sensitivities." No LEO should have the right to pick and choose what laws he/she will enforce. Wouldn't that be convenient if we all could do that? When you read your workplace policies, are you allowed to choose which ones you'll do and which ones you'll ignore? I think not. This whiney little toady needs to get out of "LAW ENFORCEMENT" and maybe take up nannying.

Quote:

In the video, posted on Brave New Foundation's Facebook page in May, Dobson said he feared the law will force him to racially profile Latinos.
Referring to a key phrase contained in SB 1070 which allows law enforcement to question a person's legal status if they have "reasonable suspicion" they are in the country illegally.
"I could stop that person and start interrogating them, even if I don't have reasonable suspicion," Dobson said.

Is he kidding me? What would "force" him to racially profile Latinos? Wouldn't he be stopping anyone including Latinos for the same infractions of the law (non- immigrant related)?

Why would he be stopping Latinos and interrogating them without reasonable suspicion? Is he a programmed robot that is unable to think and act for himself based on the criteria he has to follow as a LE person? If so, then perhaps he missed something in his training and shouldn't be in LE.

Can't take the heat? Then get out of Arizona or get out of their law enforcement.
You can not "boycott Arizona" and properly do your job there at the same time.

What a crybaby! If I get stopped for no tail light...I give ID as requested, an illegal gets stopped and arrested for not having ID, so what is the problem? My color, sex, age or ethnicity has nothing to do with being stopped. This guy is better of working at McDonalds or something.

The law isn't going to force him to racially profile. If he does that, it's because he's a racist. Whether or not an officer questions a person based solely on race, is within that officer.
