About time! The media only shows the Hispanics against the law and try to portray it as a race issue. I wonder if this little bit of news made it to CNN or MSNBC?

They should. If I went the legal route I would not want others cheating their way in. Everyone should go by the rules

What is the purpose of an Hispanic GOP group? How do they differ from a non-Hispanic GOP group?

What is the purpose of any race related political group?
Why can't we just all be Americans, with different ideas?
Divide and concur.

Like how most of the former Confederacy had very large portions call themselves American (instead of German-American, English-American, etc.) in the 2000 census

Exactly! Why have a black, hispanic, white, asian Republican or Democrat group? Why not you're either a Republican or Democrat or an Independent, period? The same goes for this hypenated American BS and advocacy groups also. Why not just say you're an American, period? Division indeed based on racial politics.
