With all these PC terms for illegals, like displaced migrant worker, or undocumented migrant worker, etc., and that recent L.A. Times article saying that the Mexicans are coming here because of crop failures due to climate change; you think that "climate change refugee" might become another leftist creation to make PC the term illegal immigrant?

It's seems odd to me how Mexicans have been coming to this country to find work since before it was a country, and no one really started making an issue of it, until our greed lost our jobs. That's right OUR greed. I grew up in Michigan, and watched factory workers making big money complain about the work. Yeah, they had it rough -- M-F, 7-4, and then it was out to their second home, fishing from their boats. Meanwhile, poor Mexicans were cleaning their homes, and harvesting crops.

Nothing's changed from the Mexican's standpoint. They still come to clean the homes, harvest the crops, but now the Americans are thinking the Mexicans are taking something from them.

It's always harder to look at the person in the mirror when there are troubles, but our troubles are not the Mexican's.

I'm not so worried about the jobs as the amount of money it takes to raise their families, educate their children and run them through our hospitals. If they could come here and be self sustainable? But they aren't.

Imagine if things were reversed and it was Americans invading Mexico by the millions, ignoring their laws, demanding jobs and free health care in Mexico and having babies at extremely high rates that required food stamps and WIC from the Mexican taxpayers. And imagine if these millions of Americans pouring over the borders into Mexico demanded that all these services be provided to them in English because they had no intention of learning the language of that country.

Do you believe the Mexicans would not complain?

He forgets, until about the 70s we didn't have a social service network they could steal from either. For some reason tax payers take issue with thieves.

If I want to donate to a Mexican or Gautemalan I'll send that money directly to an agency dealing with it.

Oh, it's just a counterbalance to all the 'unregestered Republicans' from 1986.

Educate yourself on all of the aspects of this issue instead of spreading untruthful propaganda. There is no excuse for illegal immigration regardless of what Americans do or don't do. It is against the law. We are a sovereign nation witih immigration laws. Get used to it!

I think you need to speak for yourself. I donít employ illegals. Nor am I complicit in the illegal practices of unscrupulous employers.
