That archbishop?
Mahoney seems to like to ignore various laws. Laws against pedophile abuse of children, immigration laws - it seems he has his own agenda.

As a Catholic I can say the church should shut up. When they start paying taxes to pay for the services they demand be given to illegals, then they can join the conversation on illegal immigration.
I believe the answer as to why the Church promotes the breaking of immigration and other laws of the USA has to do with "faith based charity" where the churches are paid money for social work. It always seems to come down to who profits financially by bringing in millions of impoverished illegals.

The government hands over millions of dollars to churches for this "faith based charity". They aren't paying for their beloved illegals out of their own pockets is why.

The irony also is that Mexico is a Catholic country so where's the Catholic Church when it comes to changing conditions there so all the people of that country wouldn't have to come here.
