No, chaos and lawlessness has prevailed and bigotry was never a factor in the bill. There is nothing bigoted about enforcing our immigration laws. If that were so then Mexico is an even bigger bigot then we are.

Why not? California has drug laws that are very different than federal drug laws. Many states have laws that completely contradict the Second Amendment. Or does the Obama government have it's own agenda when deciding what federal laws matter?

In fact what's very absurd - while California replaces federal laws with it's own pro-drug laws, Arizona was with federal laws that require aliens to carry their proof of legal status.

Nothing changes.

BUT, the OBAMA administration is now on notice. This issue may very well be OBAMA's undoing.
Obama isn't the sharpest tool in the shed it seems.

This opens a big can of worms now - for all police in all states. If no illegal can be asked for documents such as drivers licenses when pulled over for a traffic offense, then can the federal government go on the attack against American citizens by insisting that only American citizens can be expected to show a drivers license?

I think the Supreme court just ruled on the gun issue (Chicago) and ruled it to be unconstitutional. Expect the domino effect on the other laws.

As for the calls for civil war and such...There are places for you to get psychological help.

Where did I say civil war? Don't lie and claim I said things I never said - although civil wars have taken place for far less and civil war can be a good thing when it's all said and done.

Arizona was not throwing out federal law - like Chicago with the Second Amendment, it was in fact adopting the same law. Now this federal judge is claiming that federal laws are wrong. I believe this ruling can be challenged because if local police cannot ask foreigners for any kind of ID, then they're not going to be able to discriminate against Americans and ask any of us for any kind of ID.

Oh yes, certainly bigotry is rampant in Arizona! Now they will not be able to enforce SB1070.

Oh wait:

YouTube - In Wake of 1070 Ruling AZ Deputies Continue to Check Immigration Status

Woops!

So I eagerly await you calling Officer Lopez a "racist". Or me for that matter. (Another Hispanic).

Oh really...Then tell me why each state can regulate their own gun laws if the 2nd amendment gives us rights? Take a good look into Mass. gun laws,We're told what we can buy from certain manufactures because our lovely AG says so! We have NO freedom here!
