Another thing : Wait until one of these illegal criminals goes on a butchering spree, and the feds blame Arizona for "letting them slip through the cracks".

It's plain and simple: America and Mexico have close ties. That was one of the reasons mentioned by the White House over why Arizona's law needed to be brought to court.

Obama and company probably cringed and bit their nails while sending the order for troops - they realized it might "offend" their southern neighbors. I'm all for keeping diplomatic ties with Mexico - but America comes first.

Think of it this way - your good friend sleeps over at your place, eats your food, and uses your water. Your wife (America) wants them out because they are draining your resources.

How Americans would respond: Kick your friend out because wife comes first and the stability of your house (country) is the most important.

How Obama would respond: Tap the friend on the shoulder, Ask them if they're doing alright, steal a pair of their shoes and throw them out the door and say to your wife "See? I'm doing something!"

The federal government can't do anything right on this.

Hell with what Mexico thinks. They are rude for sending their rejects here. They don't want them. With friends like Mexico, who needs enemies ??? Let's send them charles manson, and see how they react.

It’s only reasonable to expect employers or owners of businesses to try and make a profit. Why hire two Americans and pay them $15.00 an hour to do a job that takes one Illegal to do for $5.00? Is'nt that what Capitalism is or what it's all about - To make profit by hook or crook?

No, because we have laws against hiring illegal aliens for profit.

All of this is intended to prove to us the government is doing its best to secure our borders. . . . in preparation for amnesty. Notice how often “we are securing the borders” and “we need Comprehensive Immigration Reform” is mentioned by pro-illegal politicians and guests when interviewed by the MSM. Also, notice the upsurge in sob stories being reported. Get ready folks, they are prepping us for another massive amnesty. If passed, watch how fast the border returns to its porous state. Then we’ll hear, “Well, we’re trying.”

Not to let the Feds off the hook, well, excepting the part about training and such, but, has AZ sent any National Guard troops to their border with Mexico? The governor does have the authority to deploy the state's own troops, as was already done in New Mexico. Does anyone know if she has/hasn't done so, and if not, why?

IIRC correctly, Bush changed the laws so that they could not be sent to the borders without federal approval. The National Guard can only be deployed by the governor of a state/territory for disaster response without federal approval. Deployments related to internal security (riots, border security, etc) and national defense require the approval of the President. Bush changed the rules because he was afraid that alot of governors would refuse to allow large numbers of National Guardsmen/women to be deployed overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan*.

* Because of "reforms" in the US Army in the early 1970s called "Total Force" the US Army cannot perform overseas deployments of any scale without involving the Army National Guard to some degree.

“Laws”? LOL. You can send ICE, the Border Patrol, and even the National Guard to the border region and that won’t stop the illegal crossers from crossing. The point I am trying to make is where there is an opportunity to make a quick buck, or a scenario where money can circumvent a given order such as the law. Ethical conduct will continue to be violated or side-stepped, and therefore vice encouraged or abetted.

As we speak, for crying out loud enough, Charles Rangel a leading Congressman in the House of Representatives has been charged with thirteen ethical violations.

Let me remind you, The Drug Lords have lots, and lots, and lots, and lots of money. They are very, very, very, very ruthless as well!!! Plus they don't seem to care about anyone's laws...
