So far this year, nearly 230,000 illegal immigrants have been deported. By year's end, that number is expected to reach 400,000, well ahead of President Bush's final year in office.

Seems like it does not matter what this administration does because someone or some group will always complain

That's ten percent more deportations than the Bush administration's 2008 total and 25 percent more than were deported in 2007.
cant have everything yanno .. At least BHO is trying and he is making head way in places W never did .. BHO targets the employers .. = no job mean no work for the Illegals .. which makes sense ..

In his last year in office, Bush captured 5,100 immigrants at their place of work, while Obama only caught 765, but instead audited their employers. A total of 2,875 companies were audited for a total of 6.4 million dollars in fines.

THAT makes better sense .. I am also looking for the round up numbers of past presidents .. bet that would be very eye opening reading dont ya think?

Is this due to a policy change by Obama, or because of a policy that was being ramped up during the Bush years? I dont have the answer, maybe you do..

Bush was a sell-out on immigration sooo....
Obama might have more deportations but his AZ stance is pushing many Dems away from him.

^^ Me too. I am one of those Dems who are alienated by this total sucking up he did to a bunch of illegals in the Hispanic vote. There is a reason some people say that the Dems suck up to the gays for their money and to the Hispanics for their amount of votes.

technically, bush was never given the chance B hussein is being given. bush attempted to get the illegal situation under control. do you think that fence was built during the obama administration? nope!

demorats stonewalled bush every chance they got when it came to illegal alien reform. demorats cried foul! racist! bigot! when bush tried to get the illegal alien situation under control.

now, the failed nobama admin will try and take credit for something BUSH tried to get under control but was denied due to dems acting like babies and doing some hisPandering.
