Itís mean-spirited and racist to call them illegal, because this country belongs to everyone. Plus, we stole their land, and they have a right to reclaim it.
When are they going to give back the money we paid for certain southwest territories then? Last I heard if money is paid for something and the seller accepts the amount it is a done deal and the goods aren't stolen then. What are all these illegal Mexicans doing all over our country? Did we steal New York, Illinois, Kentucky, etc. from them too?

I've got a piece of land here that came with the Gadsden purchase (1853). Presently... Wells-Fargo 'n me have this ownership contest... 'n so far I'm winnin' as long as the mortgage gets paid. 'Got a house, pool. garages 'n other stuff on it as well.

Now... when Mexico sold it... I don't reckon they bothered to ask the Apache if it was OK with them. I kind'a doubt that any Mexican... or Spaniard for that matter ever set foot on this spot 'n lived to talk about it. In the 19th century... this area was referrred to only as 'The Thorns' and was avoided 'cause it was impassable, inhospitable... and hostile. In 1861, 8 years after becoming the 'Gadsdens'... it secceded from the Union and became the Confederate Territory of Arizona. The only such territory in the Confederate States. This territory included New Mexico to the Texas border. It was taken back by force of arms. There was never a formal surrender by the Confederate government... so draw what conclusions you will from that.

Sorry for that, I specifically meant to say "Latin American countries" thank you for pointing out that mistake. With that being said I will edit that mistake to clarify.

That seems to be the way the "pro-immigration" folks like to argue. Logic is not their strong point.
