Not all applicants will make it through but probably at least 50%, which is why they take a LOT more applications than needed. It's revving up!

The US Border Patrol should be to the Coast Guard what the Marine Corps is to the Navy.

If the drones are armed, then it represents progress.

Yes it's a start and about time

Senate approves $600 million in border security funds - CNN.com

"The bill is funded in part by imposing higher fees on personnel companies that bring foreign workers into the United States."

And so they create another problem

It will be interesting to see how the money, troops
and equipment will be put in place and I have yet
to read anything about finishing the fence

I'm sure it just to state that this administration has done
something coming up to the November elections as they
really do not have positive things to talk about

Approving and getting are two different things.

This is all bull in preparation for the coming amnesty/citizenship push. Obama has ceded control of parts of southeast Arizona to the Mexican cartels. The Border Patrol has a policy, directed from Washington obviously, to not confront armed smugglers. The National Guard will not be allowed to detain illegal immigrants crossing the border and they will not confront armed smugglers either. Looks like it is up to the folks to defend our country.

Excellent idea and just like the Candy Bombers in WWII that flew over Germany and dropped candy, we could drop condoms...and candy of course.
