This article is about Turkish women giving birth in the U.S.

Turkey is located in Europe, not Mexico.

Could you explain to us those "Immigration laws in place at the time", your poor grandparents came on a rusty boat, just like those mexicans come inside a trunk of a vehicle, they were the "mexicans" of the 1960s.

Get it. You and the anchor babies are the same. Offsprings of immigrants who came pursuing the American dream. A new land of opportunities.

Ellis Island! Potential LEGAL immigrants had to pass health and other inspections. If they passed they were allowed LEGALLY into our country. Where in our immigration policies is there a system in place that allows someone hiding inside the trunk of a vehicle that makes them LEGAL immigrants? You are comparing apples to oranges as usual. An anchor baby is born from ILLEGAL parents, not legal ones. There is a right way and a wrong way to pursue the American dream. Get with the program.

Repeating a lie won't magically transform it into truth. Give it a rest.

It has always been said that America would be conquered without firing a shot. We are an "only if it directly effects me" kind of people. If the economy got better, we would all slide back into our complacency.... JMOo

The younger gernerations are self centered and the "what's in it for me" class of people.
They don't want anything to do with what's going on in the world unless it effects them.
Eventually it WILL effect everyone in this country, but by then it will be too late.

I Thank God that I won't be around in ten yr's.
