The real reason why many Third-World immigrants cannot be successfully assimilated into America

The amount of tax dollars being squandered on education for illegal aliens is absolutely obscene, and is a major factor for the budget deficits in most school districts. However, as usual, all opposition is considered motivated by racism and xenophobia. This would not be tolerated by any other country. They would not burden their taxpayers, or lower the educational standards of their own children for the sake of illegal aliens.

Both articles are good reads.

As I was reading posts (after reading the first posted article) I was thinking, "All this hoopla for a group (Mexicans mostly) whose graduation rate hovers around 50%."
I don't think all Mexicans fall in the category of "being unable to learn" as the article suggests. However, it is a sad fact that there are millions upon millions of people in the world who lack the ability to learn. I think one can be taught how to learn and retain most of their learning; however, I lean more towards ' not everyone has the "brains" to be smart.' (And there is nothing wrong with that!)

Aren't almost 50% of Americans already on some form of Govt assistance? I don't think it will be that easy to persuade that sector, unless of course, their share is cut because of the illegal invasion.
