It's still hard to believe that Michigans on the list, with a Governor(Granholm) that sends invitations (literally) to illegals to work the farms.
Also, most of the people I know in Mi, are not completely updated on Illegal Immigration.
I hope he does try to sue, it would only make him look the fool he truly is. He and his administration are an embarrassment and the more they try to pull off this crap in direct opposition to the vast majority of Americans the more it guarantees they will be gone in 4 or less years.
Of course The Peoples Rebublik of NY isn't on the list. Full of Liberal fools.

I also have many relatives still living there. In the small hometown where I was born I doubt there are many illegals living there. It is mostly those of Polish descent. I am sure they don't know or understand what we out west are going through out here due to illegal immigration as it hasn't really affected them much. Yeah, I am aware the Granholm is not a staunch opposer of illegal immigration and I was surprised see my homestate listed also.

I love the Mnt's too. I lived at the foothills (San Gorgonio, San Jacinto) in SoCal. But I left them for the rolling hills of Oklahoma with no illegals in sight.......(OK's NOT flat, dry land like everyone assumes)
The judge's injunction did not apply to the part of SB1070 that applied to employers who hire illegals, yet not one meat packing plant or chicken processing plant has been closed. Not a single employer has been arrested. This shows that Russ Pearce, JT Ready and Joe Arpaio didn't care about solving the problem, only jailing Mexicans

The location of my Kin and the ones I know could have alot to do with it.
Mostly the North West section of the lower penninsula.(around the little finger) Just above Grand Rapids and up to the Mackinaw bridge.
You've never read Bill Clinton's 1996 Illegal Immigration Reform and Responsibility Act, have you.....
It's apparent that the current administration hasn't either, but what else is new?
You would find that SB1070 is completely within and along the guidelines of this piece of legislation, signed into law in 1996 by then President Bill Clinton. Strange how there was no outcry from the left at that point, but now that a Republican governor actually wants to enforce the sum and total of Clinton's legislation, all hell breaks loose and it suddenly becomes "racist" to oust people who are in this country illegally.
The hypocrisy would be laughable if it weren't so damaging to the rest of us.

My hometown in Michigan is located on the northeast section of the lower peninsula.

My Hometown in Mi, is Cadillac. A friend I went to school with in the 5th grade, Lives in Cheboygan. He was injured in a deer hunting accident in 2003
In SoCal I lived outside the city limits of San Bernardino. I loved to go camping up in the San Bernardino Mnt's. (Big Bear, Crestline and Arrowhead.ect)
