Dissappointing, 65 Yeas to 34 Nays, not enough to stop the bill from proceeding to the floor. The last chance we have to stop this bill in the Senate comes on Thursday, when a second cloture vote is scheduled, after that it is pretty much a done deal and is on to the House, where thankfully opposition to this bill is a lot stiffer. Keep those calls going for the second cloture vote.

How we can believe anything these politians say is beyond me. They are for themselves and the possible 12 million votes they will get from these illegals. not to mention the special interest money. What kills me is the senators from some of the states most negatively affected by the illegals voted yes. If it was up to me they would ALL get thrown out of their jobs.

Of course Voinib*tch voted for it. He's a lost cause. I was hoping that the calls and faxes would have convinced Brown to vote against it. Oh well. If I can get home in time, I gonna keep calling or leaving messages. I wish I had a cell phone.

I was glued to C-SPAN 2 as I watched all the Amnesty-loving Senators give their Yea vote to the clerk, it was definatley something to watch on an empty stomach. Cloture actually passed 64 to 35. If you get a chance don't forget the Senators that actually stuck their neck out on the line to try and stop this shamnesty bill this time around: Dole, Sessions, Hutchison, Vitter, Cornyn, and DeMint among others. Also, please remember to hold accountable the Amnesty Senators who turned a blind eye to 80% of Americans who despise this bill when they are up for re-election, their arrogance is unacceptable. Case in point: Sen. Graham-nesty (R-S.C.).

Remember, we have another chance to stop cloture on Thursday, its not over yet.

They have done this amnesty thing before. This is a process that I am afraid will keep on repeating. I can't believe how voiceless American people really are. All those phone calls, emails and faxes did not mean anything to these dirty politicians.

What can do we now? And how can we get better result? We have to learn from this.
