Who knows at one time people wouldn't consider Irish and Italian white as you stated but if you include Hispanics who claim to be White, America will still be 70%+ white in 2050. The big difference with Hispanics though is they have much less distance from their homeland and there is a multi billion dollar industry nationally that is putting everything in Spanish.

The objection isn't to skin color or race. The objection is to having our identity and culture changed as a nation. Part of that culture is the English language. There are other cultural differences and ideals between anglo whites and Hispanic whites that are different. It is like asking China if they would like to become German in identity and culture due to an illegal invasion of Germans. There lays the problem not race or skin color.

And in this case, most of these Hispanics come from a culture that doesn't believe in the same things that the US culture currently enjoys Even though I'm Hispanic myself, I'm pretty afraid that the US is going to turn into a Latin American cesspool of a country. Name one country south of the US that doesn't reek of a sewer in terms of corruption and out of control crime and enjoys the prosperity that we do.

Living on an Argentine salary isn't exactly an easy thing to do. $40,000 US has plenty of disposible income while $40,000 AR you can barely live on

I agree. I don't see many Hispanics with skin tones as fair as non-Hispanic whites.
Could we send all the illegal Mexicans to Puerto Rico since nobody wants to return them to Mexico? They already speak Spanish there.
On second thought... 18,000,000+ is a lot to throw on Puerto Rico.
