This so true. My son worked as a framer for new construction, for years until illegals were hired for much less than American workers. He just couldn't make a decent wage anymore.

This has happened to my cousin. He's a very good carpenter, but the illegals have driven wages down. He's too old and beat up to learn to do something else.

Yet, our elected reps continue to ignore this glaring problem. I am so sick of hearing that illegals are only doing the jobs Americans won’t do, when we know that’s total BS. If more states issued driver’s licenses to illegal aliens, the trucking industry would also be dominated by illegals, and pro-illegals would then claim Americans will not work as truckers. How many industries will we allow to be overrun by illegals? Will it take a 30% national unemployment rate to convince people that illegal aliens are not all picking crops?
