President Colom plans to meet with Guatemalan migrant leaders in Los Angeles to inform them about the current status of the Guatemalan government’s request for TPS (Temporary Protection Status,) a humanitarian measure by the United States government to citizens of countries that have suffered natural disasters.
Might I be so bold as to enquire exactly WHAT natural disaster Guatemala has suffered lately that this would be expected?

Perhaps they’re being proactive. After all, a natural disaster could occur at any time. Why wait?

Very typical of Hispanics. Blame all the problems on their countries on the evil bastard "yanquis/gringos". They see the US as the dumping ground for their poor, criminal, and unproductive members of society. And the moonbats buy it hook, line, and sinker and buy the false premise that denying entry to these people might deny entry to "the Einsteins among them". Why do liberals think people from 3rd world nations would be culturally and economically enriching to the US??? Most of Latin America is a terrible place to live! And the libs all want them here

Basically Latin America is openly demanding the US government open it's southern border.
Obama is on their side and they know that very well so they're seizing the moment.

I wonder why he doesn't go march for his poor citizens down there by Matamoros - there were Guatemalans killed in that recent massacre of 72 people. 72 people who made a deal with the devil - the cartels - because they control the entire border.

They’re dead, so his country can’t benefit from them. On the other hand, his illegal countrymen who are here can send remittances. Also, he probably doesn’t want to emphasize this massacre for fear that it might discourage others from attempting to come here illegally. What a wretched leader.

I hadn't thought of that - but that is very likely the case with him and the La Raza types here in the USA who are strangely very quiet on this killing.
