In-state tuition | DREAM Act Portal

If illegal immigrants are here to do the jobs Americans don't want to do, as per our liberal friends parrot 24/7, why do they need to go to college? What next? Steal our white collar jobs too? This has got to stop! And the problem is with the liberals in this country. They won't lift a finger and help us deport these illegals unless a drunk illegal slams their car into theirs and the illegal gets off scott free, or that liberal loses his job and gets replaced by an illegal!

You'll be surprised at some of the states that offer in-state tuition!

Title's supposed to be "states that illegal immigrants...." yes I know it's a typo

Illegal aliens receive in state tuition in California and I just got raped by the state to take a few California archaeology classes to supplement my Plains/Prairie focus. Three California archaeology classes at a community college-$3,000 plus $500 in books. No financial aid available for me because I have over 120 college hours.

I had to take out a loan to take these classes just to make myself more attractive to the California cultural resource management job market.

It is beyond maddening and frustrating that people who are in this country illegally, directly in violation of our so-called sovereign law, can get a better tuition deal than a native born Californian who left the state for three years to obtain a degree and has now returned for graduate school and employment.

It just makes me ill.

It makes me ill period, that these people can get any of these benefits at all. Yet can you believe people here still think that they should be allowed to? I think the pro-illegal crowd believes that the illegals will go back to their countries of origin to better it, however, I believe that is simply not true at all

I know what you mean. I had to leave my college because out of state tuition was too expensive. I am waiting for that state to allow undocumented students to study while paying in-state tuition so I can sue them. I applied for in-state tuition after living there for 18 months and was denied because I went home in the summers, I worked and everything. If an undocumented student (not here legally) can go to school in that state, I'll be pissed. How is it that I was born here in the United States, legally, and I can't even get in-state tuition in a state in our "UNION" but a person from a totally different country and on top of that, here illegally can go and get their education with no problem, no financial issues and no problem?

That's a good way for our government and states to treat the people of the United States who are nationals, citizens and/or legally here.

I sure am glad that Illinois gives away our hard-earned money to people who shouldn't be here! What's that? We have a huge budget issue? I have no idea why..

I was surprised myself when I was saw that Kansas, Utah and Nebraska offered in-state tuition for illegals. I was really shocked those were 3 states I was least expecting would do that.
