This was on cnn:
"Supporters and opponents of the controversial legislation said that it probably won't be resurrected until after the 2008 elections"

Now how can stop the constant "resurrection" of this bill? It is not fair for this to happen. Leave it alone....it has been voted on. But now I have some faith that when Americans stand together, things at least have a chance of changing. Hurray for us! For now at least

Yes, I think another version of the amnesty Bill will be introduced again and again. I am afraid this is just the beginning of an immigration war that is going to tear this country apart. Pro illegal immigration groups and their large Mexican voting base will most definitely support a democrat for president in the next election. If one is elected president, there will be many more amnesty-for-illegal immigrant legislations. And if the democrats also win control in Congress, amnesty for illegals will happen.

Those republican voters who are dissatisfied with their party and Bush and yearn for something different will have some very hard choices to make. If they leave their party, a weakened republican party will certainly put more democrats in government in the next election. If this happens, as I mentioned above, amnesty for illegals is a sure thing.

Your and my nightmare will have come true.

Frankly, I think about 90% or more of them need to be tossed out on the street and we get some American in there that will protect our boarder and listen to the voters. These clowns we have now on both side are working for special interest, personal interest and foreign interest and ignoring American interest.
It high time for some sweeping change in Washington.
