Can someone explain how the “experts” can determine a decline in illegal immigration, if we don’t even know who they are, where they are located, or their total numbers? An unknown number subtracted from an unknown number = what?

Apparently, Texas isn’t the only state.

The number of illegal immigrants in Illinois has remained stable in the midst of the recession, bucking a national trend in which the number living in the U.S. declined as jobs dwindled, according to a study released Wednesday by the Pew Hispanic Center.

I was referring to Hispanics in general not just the illegal kind thus my opinion as to why Texas won't do anything to curb illegal immigration. I am sure La Raza and company have the Texas government right where they want them.
