That article sure shows how far out of touch the President is. He lives too sheltered of a life. Or is too politically greedy to care. Who knows.

Everyone,

Please don't consider President Bush typical of Midland/Odessa. He is not. Most people here respect American Rule of Law and are strongly opposed to illegal immigration and amnesty programs. Bush is the unfortunate exception rather than the rule.

As a former resident of the GREAT state of Texas, may I point out to everyone, that Bush is from Connecticut NOT Texas! He just happened to live in Texas. He is, in fact, the worst kind of Yankee. I believe they were called "carpetbaggers" after the Civil War.

Isn't Bush's baby brother Jeb married to a Mexican? That could also be why he supports Mexicans more than Americans. You know how some wifes can nag!
