Why go into Mexico? Why not seal off the border instead with a human wall of ACUs from San Diego to Brownsville?

Americans are sadly mistaken if they think this is
going to stay south of the border

The way THIS and PAST administrations have down played our security along the border has not gone unnoticed by the cartels and what's to stop them from coming right over !

At this time the cartel is better armed and willing to shoot
so how long will take to mobilize troops to this area and
how many American lives will be lost ?

So, pray tell, how do you secure thousands of miles of border 24/7. And don't say a wall. Walls do not stop people. Don't forget, some of this border is in desert and very rough country.

Law enforcement and guns! Lots of guns! This cannot be done by the local sheriffs department either, we need more border patrol agents and the temporary help of the army. The same drug cartel that has been killing people left and right at the border has set up shop in Arizona.

The point of the wall is to assist the Border Patrol. A physical barrier is always a deterrant even though "some" will still try to get over it. The double layed version where it has been completed already has cut back illegal immigration by 80%. The wall combined with more manpower including the military in those remote desert areas if needed and high tech surveillance would cut back illegal immigration immensely. No one is claiming we can cut it back 100% but with all of the above we could cut it back to a trickle.
