Stephen C. Goss, the chief actuary of the Social Security Administration and someone who enjoys bipartisan support for his straightforwardness, said that by 2007, the Social Security trust fund had received a net benefit of somewhere between $120 billion and $240 billion from unauthorized immigrants.

Unauthorized? Is that the new P.C. term for illegal alien?

"Somebody ought to say thank you."

Consider immigrants who come here legally. Consider that they have to work per the labor laws and minimum wage standards. Consider the higher pay scale and thus higher SS taxes that would have been paid by citizens or legal immigrant workers.

Thanks? NO THANKS!

who gets republicans, or anti illegals, higher pay less profits for business,

why dont you just see it as a tax cut for the rich, eventually a lot of people on the republican side tend to think that the rich know how to invest their money more properly.

and another thing those illegals that invested all that money into social securtiy WONT SEE A PENNY FROM IT....... because their not entitled to
unemployment or disability and the best of all retirement...

so its all surplus MONEY.,,,,

Another one who thinks that profits should trump morality and legality. Sounds just the greedy corporations in this country who hire illegal aliens to line their pockets with more profit in spite of it being against the law and stabbing American citizens in the back.

Like I'm gonna believe anything said by some guy who, by his own admission, can't even provide precise figures!

That is some mega difference! In billions yet.

$50 bucks says he's got his own illegal wife/ sweetheart/ nanny/ gardener/ whatever.

Somewhere between $120 billion and $240 billion.

So, what is it? Is it $120, $150, $180, $199.5, $205, $215, $230, or $240 billion? More importantly, how do they know what illegals contribute? Is there a new “unauthorized immigrant” tax category? Must a company develop a special program to identify the social security wages and contributions of illegal aliens? Do their paychecks read: FICA/Illegal Y-T-D? Do they receive a special W-2-IA form?

In any case, this is but a drop in the bucket compared to the hundreds of billions they cost taxpayers on an annual basis. Not to mention, the lives they ruin by having 120 people using the same stolen SSN.

Well, two wrongs don't make a right. The Government should only collect money from those that are legally employed. I say return the money to their employers, levy any fines against the illegals for SS ID fraud and fine the employers for hiring them. Next, deport the illegal workers and send their employers to jail.

The US Government, in this regard, is no better than the illegal migrants and their employers. All three groups are full of corruption.

There is no "benefit" or "helping" to anyone for fraud, lying, stealing and cheating.

mo·ral·i·ty (m-rl-t, mô-)
n. pl. mo·ral·i·ties 1. The quality of being in accord with standards of right or good conduct.
2. A system of ideas of right and wrong conduct: religious morality; Christian morality.
3. Virtuous conduct.
4. A rule or lesson in moral conduct.

le·gal·i·ty (l-gl-t) n. pl. le·gal·i·ties 1. The state or quality of being legal; lawfulness.
2. Adherence to or observance of the law.
3. A requirement enjoined by law. Often used in the plural.

just between china and mexico america has imported 2,256,900,000,000 trillion dollars, and guess what? work manufactured or produced at

define morality? legality again? we exploit the poor, and the poor have brought a taste of our medicine to our shores.
