DO YOUR MATH,

1.4 billion divided by 52 million.

for 26.9 pensioners theres one illegal getting welfare.

WHO IS DRYING LOS ANGELES COFFERS? AND I can assure you that the ones receiving the pensions are not illegals.

illegal are a an expense, but los angeles problems are much MUCH, MORE THAN GIVING ILLEGALS 52 MILLION MISERABLE DOLLARS out of a gdp
The Los Angeles-Long Beach-Riverside combined statistical area (CSA) has a gross metropolitan product (GMP) of $831 billion (as of 2008), making it the third largest economic center in the world, after the Greater Tokyo Area and the New York-Newark-Bridgeport CSA

Your comparing "the cost of illegals on welfare" now, to "the cost of Pensions" 5 years from now?

That makes no sense.

That's like comparing the "ocean" with a "mud puddle" , there's no comparison.
Besides, Illegals are...well, just that,,ilegal, who have paid little to no taxes.
"pentioners" are retired taxpayers who have paid taxes for decades.

The illegal migrant contributes nothing. The city worker provides essential services. You cannot compare the two. Raise the retirement age if you must. But railing against the hardworking mailman or the local high school teacher who paid taxes all his life and make our lives better is insane.
Talk about a bizarro World we live in now. A Teacher facing cuts has to sit in front of a classroom with many bused in anchor/illegal kids. Talk about fueling your own demise.

You CANíT be serious. Itís an affront to senior citizens to even attempt to compare them to lawless illegal aliens. You canít justify the billions squandered on illegal aliens by comparing those costs to ANYTHING spent on citizens of this country.

This thread illustrates your extreme desperation. It speaks volumes that you would try to besmirch senior citizens in an attempt to defend illegal immigration. How dare you!

Thanks, Benicar. I am one of those seniors. I was born here and I worked for nearly 50 years and paid taxes into the system all that time. Only to be told that because illegal aliens are taking "supposedly" less out of our tax coffers than we are it is no big deal? Whatever they are getting above and beyond what they pay in should be going to help our seniors and other Americans.

how dare me ? i did not vote for those stupid politicians, they made a promise to you and did they keep the promise? thats what I mean
by saying that the country YOU want is socialism
the rich that exploit the illegal pays for 70% of almost all the income taxes,
social security was meant for a retirement fund that you
are entitled to after you work so many years? is the goverment going to keep that promise?

now my position is how racist the anti illegals are by putting a thread saying "look baba illegals cost so much in such and such county"

and I just wanted to prove a point where are problem was,
the population in america specially the whites are declining
how you and the rest of your buddies going to fight that problem

having a ratio of one worker for one pentioner,

The Social Security Act of 1935 set the initial tax rate at 2 percent and specified increases that would bring the rate up to 6 percent by 1949.
In fact, here is what the 1936 government Social Security pamphlet said: "And finally, beginning in 1949, 12 years from now, you and your employer will each pay 3 cents on each dollar you earn, up to $3,000 a year. That is the most you will ever pay."
Today, the Social Security tax rate is 12.4 percent, which is unknown to most Americans. What happened to their "promise" and how did they fool so many of us? The government is clever in that they required that the employer pay half of the tax, which hides the true cost.

THE system is broken
