If you remove Hispanic Americans and others of Hispanic Ancestry out of the equation, what percentage of support for Illegal Aliens would you find from non Hispanics???
Does anyone know of a study on this? It seems that the most vocal and biased support comes from Politicians and groups with Hispanic ancestry.
Maldef,NCLR,Pew HISPANIC Ctr,Hispanic American Caucus and other Ethnocentric entities. Ironically they claim to have solid representation when in reality a large percentage of Americans of Hispanic ancestry also oppose Illegal Immigration.
In reality when you remove Hispanic support for Illegals the rest of America is strongly opposed to Illegal Aliens coming here.

You start with a question and ask for help to answer that question b/c you don't know the answer. But then you answer your own question at the end of your post.
Last time I checked Ted Kennedy and George Bush, Jr. do NOT have an ounce of Hispanic or Latino blood. One was Irish. The other as blue blood as it gets (despite the Texas twang).

George W. Bush is not Hispanic, but he does have Hispanic relatives through the marriage of his brother Jeb to a Mexican woman. Ted Kennedy was a bleeding heart who erroneously considered illegal immigration a civil rights issue. However, by and large, major support for illegal immigration is found among the Hispanic population. Obviously, for the majority of Hispanics, ethnicity trumps all.

I'm not sure that I agree with your last statement. many American hispanics are in favor of immigration laws. It is only when the debate gets personal that legal hispanics favor the illegal aspect.

I have personal relationships with several Hispanic citizens, none whom support amnesty or illegal immigration. In fact, my ex-husband is even more anti-illegal than I could ever be. However, the vast majority of Hispanics do support every measure intended to legalize the status of illegal aliens. Many are supportive due to a sense of ethnic solidarity; others, because they have illegal family or friends.

I can attest to that also. Another indication of that is the number of Hispanic politicians who are advocates for illegal aliens. I don't know of a single one who isn't fighting for their cause.

Same here. If there are any, I certainly haven’t heard of them. They all support the DREAM Act and CIR. IMO, that speaks volumes.
The same old tired excuse that we need them here, I'll bet their are millions of Haitians right now that would love to come here LEGALLY and people all over the world that would jump at a chance and go through the requirements of LEGAL immigration to find ANY job available.
Where are their supporters??? We don't need anymore advocates for criminals who think they are special and the law doesn't apply to them.

Good question. I would much rather have more Haitians here who don't have an axe to grind about "stolen land" and some reconquista agenda. They are much more deserving and destitute than Mexicans.

so, your hispanic friends do not support the illegals but you think the vast majority do? Why the disproportionate numbers? Do you choose only pro american friends?
FYI: 42.7% of all statistics are jusrt made up
