And, rightly so. They also should require hard labor from illegals. Send them to work in the fields from sunrise to sunset. Then, they should bill their countries of origin. Why should taxpayers be forced to pay for their incarceration?

In a much-needed legal victory for the often defeated immigration enforcement movement, a federal appellate court has ruled that a criminal’s sentence can be increased if he or she is in the United States illegally.

Victory, yes. Not a victory when it's at our expense.

I suppose you don't have much wiggle room when you consider whether to imprison them longer or deport only to return shortly.

And until the border is secure that's the way it will be

BUT, once the border is secure we could pull a 'Castro'

I swear you guys whine about every little thing. Nothing ( realistic solutions) will satisfy the hardliners on this issue.

Little things? There is nothing little and insignificant about illegal immigration. There is nothing hardliner or unrealistic about expecting our immigration laws to be enforced and deporting people here illegally as our laws state.

Especially the part about billing the countries of origin. What if the countries refuse to pay? Are you going to start war with them?

Why are you asking me this? I didn't make that statement. Who's putting words in other's mouths now?

So called "realistic solutions" that all entail one form or another of either amnesty or maintaining the status quo.

Yes, I am a hardliner regarding the treatment of foreign criminals. Currently, incarceration is not punishment. Illegals are fed and clothed, and have access to all of the amenities available on the outside. They have access to sex, drugs, cable TV, gangs, recreation. . . . you name it. If they were required to work on chain gangs, or some form of hard labor, perhaps they would think twice before raping, murdering, or robbing while living in this country illegally.

Explain why U.S. taxpayers should be burdened by paying BILLIONS annually to house this scum? Their own countries don’t want them. Yet, we are expected to embrace them? Please.

And what “realistic solutions” do you have?
