Population of Illegal immigrants and Country/Continent of Origin

Mexico: 6,840,0000 57%

You don't really read these boards do you?

When we say pitch 'em out, we mean pitch every single solitary one of 'em out--Mexican, Scandavian, Latvian, or Martian!

The desperation is becoming palpable on the pro illegal side.

I still keep having the feeling that California will soon explode in fury against its millions of illegals as the economy there continues to tank.

I spent some time in Phoenix, AZ, which has a very high hispanic population, and a very high number of undocumented, I needed a simple masonry job in the back yard, requested quotes from various contractors, to my amazement they hovered between $4000.00 and $6000.00 with little warranty, ultimately I found a Hispanic dude, who did the job with one assistant in two days for 1500.00, plus $500.00 extra that I tipped on top, they were very polite and educated, they earned a decent amount of money, while doing a great job, Shoul I care if they were documented or not? I did not, I am sick and tired of our own people trying to ********* over, that's why our economy is so bad, everyone wants to be rich doing the least amount of work possible, I think a lot of our working force should be replaced with immigrants.

And so if your cheap servants were to have been injured on the job, you'd have dumped that cost onto the taxpayers.

We don't need a nation filled with desperately poor day workers.

You elitists want your ultra cheap labor, dirt paid servants that end up costing the taxpayers millions of dollars.

I seem to recall a very similiar argument given by slave owners in the years leading up to the civil war.......exploiting illegal labor is a form of slavery, and you should be ashamed to have knowingly been a part of it.

But beyond that, why - besides greed - do you think the legal/citizen contractors were twice as much as the illegal? Could it be that they have to pay taxes on their income? That if they have employees, they need to supply benefits? Are there business liscense that they would have to take out in order to operate in your city/state? Whereas the illegal gets paid cash under the table, no taxes to report. And their families? Getting free healthcare at the emergency room. Look at the whole picture before patting yourself on your back for your thriftiness at the expense of the greedy american workmen

Illegals are not citizens of the United States, they are foreign in every sense of the word. They refuse to assimilate because they are not Americans, and they know it.

No: your kind who knowingly hire illegal immigrants need to not only have your assets seized; you traitors also need to face some serious prison time as well.

Now: if your workers were here legally: read that you sponsored them, etc.-----------that would be a different situation and I would respect your ideas

Being that most of the illegals are indeed from Mexico: going after them would give the most bang for the LE buck.

Heavens, no. Why would we want them to assimilate? If they were to become fat, lazy and stupid like the rest of us, who will repair my roof next time a hurricane blows through?
