And that is part of the fight against illegal immigration. We want to retain our own resources for our own citizens. We can all live on our own pie if we plan well and stop outsiders from taking pieces of it without our permission.

Which is EXACTLY what is being demanded of the government of this country by it's citizens - to defend the resources of THIS country against illegals with their grubby little paws out demanding their "share". Yet you seem to have an issue with that.

Theres enough resources in the world to feed everyone 8 times over. What gives us the right to hoard the bountiful product of fertile land? Did we somehow earn the fertile breadbasket by overrunning the natives? Who do you think you are?

The world or this country is not full of finite resouces and will just dwindle even more as the population of the world and this country increases. The U.S. is the only country with fertile land? Do tell!

Stop living in the past. It gets old after awhile. Those people are all dead now. In today's world every country has soveirgn borders. Deal with it.

THE FOOD "SURPLUS": A Staple Illusion of Economics; A Cruel Illusin for Populations

Its good to know they are all dead! Now we can feel good about ourselves! Maybe when all the undernourished/starving people are dead too, we can start to feel better about the millions of tons of food we burn each year because we're too cheap to go through the "trouble" of distributing it.

I would still feel good about myself if the people of the past were still alive as I invaded nobody's land and stole nothing from them. I was born here and my ancestors aren't guilty of anything either.

This country is the most generous in the world. We help many starving nations but I guess it is never enough for those who have a continued axe to grind with us.
