In a remarkably contemptuous move, three illegal immigrants marked for deportation after committing crimes are suing the U.S. government over the program that targeted them for removal.
NO ! its a sign of the times , Attorney that don't understand the oath they took , ( they will defend the US from "ALL" Enemies from within and outside) . WELL folks they were here ILLEGALLY therefore they are criminals . The Attorneys should be bared from practicing what they appear not to understand.
I get such a mixed message. People say they only want the criminal illegals removed yet they scream foul when local LE is involved ak doing their jobs. It doesn't add up. Do we really want a double layer of Federal Police along the side of local Police?
The entire argument reeks of racial overtones. Police have a job and should be allowed to do it no matter what the demographics are of the people committing the crimes.

Indeed it does. So now we should not enforce our laws if the perpetrators are Hispanic?
Stop this "race" BS. It's not working anymore. Neither are the "hateful" and "bigot" cliches. If I break a law, law enforcement is not concerned about my race. It's a law that I have broken. They are not being hateful or bigoted if they do their job and enforce the law.

Those who lack a substantive defense, have nothing in their arsenal but the race card. They will continue to play it, as long as they have the support of the guilt-ridden and bleeding hearts.

as Read the article, the lawsuit had been filed with specific terms, and litigants. when you claim that there are racial overtones to this lawsuit...that comes from the comentator of this article.
Quote:
Among the defendants are ICE Director John Morton, Cobb County Sheriff Neil Warren, a Georgia Department of Public Safety investigator and other state officials. The illegal immigrants’ attorney seeks to make it a class action that includes “all Hispanic persons who have been or will be restrained and interrogated within the state of Georgia” under 287(g).
Just because the comentator states something as fact, does not make it so. The defendant's attorney is not even named or "quoted" in this piece.
The lawsuit stands to date as a repudiation of Cobb county and Georgia's participation in 287g; and the oversight and training provided by officals of ICE. That has no racial overtones.
Lets deal with the facts on the table and leave the conjector to future events to the prognosticators.
Why does THAT require training or supervision from ICE?
As far as illegal aliens, and their supporters are concerned, anything to make it more difficult to deport them. They claim local LE isn't properly 'trained' to deal with illegal aliens.
