Quote:
Bo Pilgrim, of Pittsburg, who runs the nation's largest poultry producing company, said the nation needs the labor of the illegal immigrants who are living in the shadows.

"I'm here to testify that it's real," Pilgrim recently told a group of border mayors. "If we lose those people, the economy of the United States will simply go down the drain."
A similar argument was made by plantation owners who opposed the abolition of slavery. They were wrong, as are illegal alien profiteers.

From article:

"Some Republicans and the influential Texas Association of Business want no action from state lawmakers, especially if it involves employer sanctions"

The bolded part, my friends, is the disease.

"Gov. Rick Perry, who made border security a major issue of his re-election campaign, recently called legislation such as Berman's divisive."

Rick Perry, the RINO, a major player in the hispandering movement, just like his predecessor Bush

Breaking it down.

Democrats- Deal with it haters. The world is changing, and you are going to change with it. Stop being racist xenophobes and accept diversity at all costs. We need to help the poor and down trodden of the world, it is the humane (aka warm, fuzzy, feelings) thing to do. They also provide billions in economic activity and pay taxes.

Mainstream Republicans (make up majority of GOP and the entire leadership)- We need them to do the jobs Americans won't. They provide billions of dollars in economic activity. If we stop illegals, then many businesses would shutter and prices for food will skyrocket. Sure they use a lot of social services, but at least they generate income for a municipality

See how not different they are? Neither wants to go after them. The Democrats don't want to lose the white liberal everybody-sing-kumbaya-and-hold-hands vote and the Hispanics who sit on the fence, while Republicans don't want to lose the business vote to the Democrats and the Hispanics who sit on the fence.

Gov. Rick Perry (R)TX is a Governor of a state with about 450 miles of border with another country. Why does he need and audience with President Obama to complain about border security? He can utilize the Texas National Gaurd...Why doesnt He? it better "Theater" to "Call-out" the President than actually work(spend real money) on the problem. If Rick Perry wanted he could simply clamp-down on the interstate routes into and out of Texas with more DPS and Texas Rangers to send the message..."Dont Mess With Texas".

Both (R) Gov. Rick Perry and challenger (D)Bill White have discussed illegal immigration, as it relates to Texas, so little that you wuold not even think it was a concern to either party.

Whether for or against illegal immigration, people should be furious it is getting benched. It's a huge, serious issue that needs to be addressed.
