Just another example of how broken our immigration system is.

Man Accused of Rape After Release

COLUMBIA -- Maury County deputies and federal agents are looking for a man who is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl only hours after being released from jail.

Juan Villa, 24, has been in the Maury County Jail 11 times since 2001 on charges of assault, public intoxication, driving without a license and contempt of court.

He was released from jail on $1,000 bail on Friday at about 9:45 p.m. and is suspected of raping the 15-year-old shortly after midnight. During the investigation, a 13-year-old girl also told deputies she was raped by Villa, Sheriff Enoch George said.

Villa is suspected of being in the country illegally and George said the department had contacted Immigration and Customs Enforcement about him before he was released from jail but the federal agents said they would deal with him later.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Federal agents will deal with a rapist 'later', guess it's just not top priority these days. DHS must be just too darn busy ignoring immigration laws to care. This just shows no matter how many times an illegal is caught or convicted of a crime, he will not be deported by federal agents. Oh, and in the slim chance that he is, he can get an immigration lawyer to defend him in court. If he doesn't win the first time they will appeal and appeal until amnesty is granted.

This is disgusting. Just one more example of how the Bush Administration refuses to protect Americans. This is not an isolated incident. This type of thing happens all the time.

I guess rape victims are just expendable to this Administration.

Hey, this crap didn't just start since the last presidential elections.

I don't recall a sudden change in border policy or treatment of illegals with any of the presidents going all the way back to the Carter presidency.

My (then) sister-in-law, age 15 ... was raped by 3 mexican illegals that were also enrolled in her Denver High School. They planned their attack on her for her normal walk home route, pulled her into a vacant garage and all raped her repeatedly for a couple of hours before letting her go home.

The Denver police department did nothing beyond taking a report. It was only the school authorities that took any action; they suspended the boys, who subsequently fled the area in the face of possible legal action.

They later turned up enrolled in a Greeley High School. Again, no action was taken by the authorities to prosecute them.

The only thing I see changing since that era in the 1970's is that the illegals are more numerous and visible within our population.

I lived in California back in the 70's, I've seen how the invasion has progressed. But what's happening now is the Bush Administration's problem and fault. Bush is our president, the buck stops at his desk. The day our next president takes office it's his problem. If he takes no action then he's just as responsible for every single violent crime illegal aliens commit here just as if he personally committed them himself.

I guess they're just doing the violent crimes Americans won't do.

My sympathies for your sister-in-law sunspirit, terrible story.

If I was the parent of something like this, I would do what should be done myself. American cares about money and our authorities actions show that. Defend yourself and your family, noone else cares...
