Illegal immigration is destroying the habitat between Mexico and the U.S. Many plant and animal species are threatened with extinction due to the gross amount of pollution and debris left by illegal aliens in their habitat as well as the destruction to the environment.

Where are the environmentalists?

Now that you mention it, I read just the other day about how the Sierra Club is infighting right now over this very subject.

Default Hipocrites

The "hand wringers" are having a problem with their philosophy. They can't decide whether to be on the side of our environment as they so vehemently are most of the time, or whether this environmental damage is acceptable because it is by the poor, down trodden illegals just trying to come across the border to get a job and feed their families.

Thank you for mentioning this. It has crossed my mind so many times. If we are so worried about the "fragile" coastal wetland area between the US and Mexico, why do we allow people to just stomp all over it. If we are worried about the lack of resorces, like water and electricity and the overbuilding of our cities, then why continue with an open border. My thoughts are that the leadership of the environmental groups have an alternative adjenda and it has nothing to do with our ecology. Maybe I am wrong.

What, do you think that what little unspoiled habitat remains in North America needs to look like the side of a road in New Jersey?

Geez....

Pretend an illegal immigrant made a joke so you can get really steamed about it.

We need to force a few of the illegals to perform community service down there and clean up some of that trash. They can take it with them as they are deported to Mexico.

That is a great idea Hawkeye! I think some could do some cleaning here in AZ. You should see the trash they leave behind in our beautiful desert. I hope the new Mexican president tries to help create a system where the desperate are able to live and work in their own country.
