But officials at Denair Middle School told him he couldn't fly it. He said he was told some students had complained....."

".....'Our Hispanic, you know, kids will, you know, bring their Mexican flags and they'll display it, and then of course the kids would do the American flag situation, and it does cause kind of a racial tension which we don't really want," Parraz said. "We want them to appreciate the cultures'......"

Will the suck up fest never end? Who would be offended by our flag on a kids bike?

No wonder there is so much anti-Mexico sentiment now. Not being able to fly the flag of our Country?

I suppose next they will ban all U.S. flags, unless the Mexican flag is equally permitted to be displayed. Has our country become so spineless and PC that we must now prohibit the U.S. flag from being displayed lest we “offend” a Mexican?

I haven't seen one article about the son or daughter of a Chinese illegal immigrant speaking out how "offended" they are by the stars and stripes.

Denying a child to fly a flag, on Veteran's Day of all days?! This has got to end! So sick of this PC crap. Our soldiers poured their blood, sweat and tears for the Flag and how dare anyone denies anyone to fly it, on any day, ESPECIALLY on Veteran's Day!

Apparently our kids may 'appreciate' any culture save their own.

This is an outrage.

This is totally unacceptable! We are honoring our veterans no matter what country their ancestors originated from but Veterans Day isn't about those countries it is about ours. If someone is of Mexican ancestry and served in our military (and you have to be legal to do that) it still isn't about Mexico but the U.S. I am just furious about this incident!

The American kid can fly his US flag on Veterans day in and near the school if he chooses:

36 USC Sec. 174 (http://usinfo.org/facts/174.html - broken link)

If the schools superintendent doesn't like American kids flying the US flag, he can blow it out his a$$. If the Mexican kids don't like it, deport them back to Mexico.
