...Thirteen-year-old Cody Alicea put the flag there as a show of support for the veterans in his family.

I haven't seen one article about the son or daughter of a Chinese illegal immigrant speaking out how "offended" they are by the stars and stripes.
Denying a child to fly a flag, on Veteran's Day of all days?! This has got to end! So sick of this PC crap. Our soldiers poured their blood, sweat and tears for the Flag and how dare anyone denies anyone to fly it, on any day, ESPECIALLY on Veteran's Day!
This is totally unacceptable! We are honoring our veterans no matter what country their ancestors originated from but Veterans Day isn't about those countries it is about ours. If someone is of Mexican ancestry and served in our military (and you have to be legal to do that) it still isn't about Mexico but the U.S. I am just furious about this incident!
The American kid can fly his US flag on Veterans day in and near the school if he chooses:
36 USC Sec. 174 (http://usinfo.org/facts/174.html - broken link)
If the schools superintendent doesn't like American kids flying the US flag, he can blow it out his a$$. If the Mexican kids don't like it, deport them back to Mexico.
