Illegals are having a field day suing this country.

Quote:
LOS ANGELES, Calif. A jury has awarded $1.73 million to the family of an illegal immigrant from El Salvador who died of penile cancer that went undiagnosed for more than a year while he was in state and federal custody.

"The family felt like Francisco was vindicated. They felt like this was something that happened for him after he passed away to restore his honour and find justice for him," said Doyle.

You've got to be kidding! Most likely his veneral diseases gave him the cancer and he's suing the American taxpayers because he never sought care himself?

No verification in the article as to whether or not the family is illegal too, but the prison should have just treated him and then sent him and his wiener back to El Salvador after his sentence was up.

I'm not a fan of 17-year-olds getting $1.5M payouts they didn't earn. At the very least, they should make her win a poker tournament or something.

Restore his honor? Sorry, but I think the syphilis and meth isn't going to help that problem.

In no way should that jury have awarded his family ANY kind of money- none at all

Hopefully there will be an appeal, especially as regardless of whether he received treatment or not, his condition was apparently UNtreatable.

And just as I thought things couldn't get deeper in the hole, someone just threw me a shovel. This has got to be a new low. Now that we're awarding families of illegal immigrants millions becuase one of them died by their own cause. He chose to have meth, he got caught, and he expected to get a special treatment while in prison. I suprised they didn't award this illegal the medal of honor.
