Who says we need mass deportations.

MEXICO CITY (AP) -- A new study suggests there may be 100,000 fewer Hispanics in Arizona than there were before the debate over the state's tough new immigration law earlier this year.

The study released Wednesday also cites Mexican government figures as saying that 23,380 Mexicans returned from Arizona to Mexico between June and September.

At a news conference, the legislators said that Sonora, – Arizona’s
southern neighbor, – made up of mostly small towns, – cannot handle the
demand for housing, jobs and schools that it will face as Mexican workers
return to their hometowns from the USA without jobs or US money.
they sure weren't very worried about our ability to handle such demands, were they?

The real problem in dealing with immigration reform has been Republicans, though Democrats are also to blame. Republican Congressman and Senators can't look at immigration reform because their big money backers are the ones who need illegal immigration the most, otherwise they may have to pay normal wages and benefits. The more illegals= bigger profits for corporations backing GOP candidates.

In case you haven't noticed it is the Republicans who stopped amnesty every time it reared its ugly head. They don't want any reform that allows illegal aliens to remain here. It is still our Republican congressmen that are fighting amnesty, birthright citizenship, wanting e-verify implemented in all work places, increased border security etc. It is the Democrats that don't want any of the above so that they will have more future voters.

Yes, just like they deported themselves from their own homelands in the first place, they'll deport themselves from any place with laws that are enforced. No big round-ups needed. I have a feeling that virtually none returned to Mexico however, California would be the place to go. It's got the best handouts, the most sympathetic politicians to everyone except American taxpayers that is.

Funny how 100,000 hispanics left Az but I don't see any difference. Population still booming here and many hispanics living here.
