Why stop at in-state tuition. Why not offer illegals free room and board.

It’s bad enough that taxpayers are forced to provide illegals with a K-12 education. Now, the taxpayers of CA will also subsidize their college education.

Quote:
The California Supreme Court decided today that undocumented immigrants who complete three years of high school in California and graduate qualify for in-state tuition at California universities. This reversal of the lower court’s ruling allows California to remain one of several states that offer this benefit to undocumented students.

Well now that Arnie's gone as governor, I'm sure they will also act to overrule his veto of the law that was passed so that not only do they get in state tution but are also eligible for financial aid previously only allowed to citizens and legal residents (aka The Ca Dream Act)

I am not at all surprised. CA seems to be a mecca for illegals.

This state will never get ahead.

Illegals are being pandered to in order that the majority of TRUE Legal American Citizens ARE NOT CALLED RACIST.

DISGUSTING!

The only true fact is that they do not belong here and do not DESERVE to pay in state tuition and they need to get out.

How many American Citizens and Legal Residents will not be able to ATTEND A STATE COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY because some illegal has that seat?

THE NUTS ARE RUNNING THE ASYLUM!

Let there be no wonder as to why the hatred for this is building. This is plain and simple parasitic behavior.

Stop all federal assistance to California, that's a starter.

I used to smile when someone referred to CA as "la-la land", now I know it's a fact.

I just finished reading the article and while the vein in my forehead feels like it's going to explode I also have to sit back and laugh. Every time I think about how bad it is here in Mass., I hear a ridiculous story like this from Commifornia and feel just a little bit better about living here.

The pro illegal apologists in the comments section make me reach for the barf bag. SURELY these aren't the views of either Americans or legal residents.

Is this map still accurate? This isn't really a new thing for CA, so if you weren't mad before you shouldn't be mad now. Also, there are a number of other states that allow this as well.
