Meg Whitman Settles For $5,500 With Ex-Housekeeper : NPR (http://www.npr.org/2010/11/17/131398031/meg-whitman-settles-for-5-500-with-ex-housekeeper - broken link)

THIS however, is sickening........

Quote:
Diaz Santillan told reporters Wednesday that she came forward so other housekeepers would not face discrimination.
I wonder what will happen now? Deportation? Not very likely is it? At least not according to her scumbag immigration attorney.....

Why do we even bother HAVING immigration LAWS when they're not followed by anyone but legal immigrants?

Quote:
He said Diaz Santillan was not in danger of deportation and said the fact that she had falsified documents as she sought work was not unusual in such cases. "The immigration laws recognize that, and there is forgiveness and humanitarian considerations," he said.

Fine Him for defending such nonsense, and send his a-- to jail. When is this bullcrap going to come to an end. With so many defending these illegals, who would not want to come here.

Appears these illegals can do no wrong, these idiots in power these attorney's defending them, and those bitchi-- that they have a right to be here, should also be in jail.

The rights we once had, seem to be going to everyone else, who were not born here.

This simply put is not right.

California has an easy answer, stop giving illegal aliens any assistance, no medical, no educational NOTHING.

Reprint all signs and documents in English only. You can't speak any English, Bye Bye back home.

Tell all employers they will be fined 10,000 per illegal alien, and that includes all the elitists who have maids/gardeners/window cleaners, chambermaids etc....

If the students can't speak English at school, BYE BYE back home.

If a lawyer takes an illegal alien case HE pays for everything and that includes all court costs no matter how the case turns out.

Sometimes a look back will show a path to the
future

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

The settlement reimburses Diaz Santillan for unpaid wages but not the mileage she says she was owed when she ran errands for the family.
She expects to be paid extra for illegally driving her employers vehicle.

This broad should consider herself lucky.

I wonder how long we'll have to wait for Janet to come up with an "answer" now the hearing is over?

This is beyond sickening. I didn’t realize our immigration laws recognize ID theft and fraud as “humanitarian” exceptions for unlawful behavior.

I also have to wonder how this immigration atty (so called) missed that section of the Immigration and Naturalization Act that specifically states falsely claiming to be a USC (which she DID) is a deportable offense.

Quote:
One of the biggest mistakes that aliens have made is making a false claim of citizenship to a private sector employer on an I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form. If this false claim to a private employer was made on or after Sept. 30, 1996, this individual would be inadmissible. Immigrants who are found to be inadmissible under Section 212(a)(6)(C)(ii) of the INA are permanently inadmissible. There are absolutely no waivers available under this scenario.

It certainly wouldn't be an acceptable excuse for a U.S. citizen.
