The ongoing campaign by the illegal-alien lobby to block the deportation even of illegal-alien criminals is the lobby’s most unfathomable activity. It is also a reminder of the strength of its commitment to the evisceration of the immigration rule of law. As the Obama administration and the lame-duck Congress push for a partial amnesty, the background campaign against deporting criminal aliens reminds us that such intermediate measures as the DREAM Act belong to a larger agenda of destroying all existing penalties for illegal entry and presence.

We also have to start going after the employers of illegals. They need to be given large fines and some prison time.

No one should have much sypathy for the greedy employers who bring in illegals to work for dirt cheap and refuse to hire Americans while unemployment rates are sky high.

The illegals come here on their own accord...

They don't refuse to hire American workers, the American workers refuse to work for the wages paid to illegals...

No country in the world can allow unlimited immigration. If America opened its borders to all those who wish to live here, hundreds of millions of people would come here. That would, of course, mean the end of the United States economically and culturally and were getting to darn close

As long as the murders, rapes, kidnappings, ID theft, and credit fraud is happening to everyone EXCEPT our elected local/state/federal officials, their family members, and close friends -- illegal Entry into the U.S.A. is officially NOT A PROBLEM. !

The security of the United States of America is in the hands
of some very incompetent people who have no idea what's
going on along the border and refuse to let the people
hired to do that job.

It's time to hold OBAMA accountable if he is as he states a
'Constitutional Expert' why is it he's not working on this with the same zest as the heath care that had to be approved for us to see his socialistic agenda

That is why I cannot fathom why the illegal alien apologists in here think that illegal aliens should be entitled to citizenship. I.D. theft and many of the other things you mentioned are felonies. Since when does an American who commits such crimes get a reward for doing it?

Another thing is if they are so compassionate towards those already here illegally what about the rest who will continue to jump our borders illegally for eternity? Do they have any idea how many millions of poor and impoverished all over the world that want to come here? I mean if they are going to be compassionate to the millions already here then they would also have to insist that we take in the whole world's poor, right? Do they even think beyond their noses what that would do to our country? It simply amazes me that these illegal sympathizers have no compassion for their fellow Americans.

The Democratic Party is, in many ways, an American version of the PRI. For 70 years, the PRI governed Mexico and brought its economy to its knees because of vast government spending, the squashing of individual initiative, a bloated bureaucracy, unsustainable debt and the subsequent devaluing of the Mexican peso.

Institutional Revolutionary Party - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The PRI has been widely described as a coalition of networks of aspiring politicians seeking not only positions of power and prestige but also the concomitant opportunity for personal enrichment. At the highest levels of the political system, the major vehicles for corruption have been illegal landholdings and the manipulation of public-sector enterprises. In the lower reaches of the party and governmental hierarchies, the preferred methods of corruption have been bribery, charging the public for legally free public services, charging members of unions for positions, nepotism, and outright theft of public money. This corruption, although condemned by Mexican and foreign observers alike, historically served an important function in the political system by providing a means of upward mobility within the system and ensuring that those who were forced to retire from politics by the principle of no reelection would have little incentive to seek alternatives outside the PRI structure.
