This article is ripe with the hatred of America and Americans. How can people deport poor, innocent lil babies?

they always save the best for last

"We are at moment in our national history when we ó whether liberal, conservative or whatever ó have to recognize that our behavior around the issue of undocumented immigration is a more honest reflection of who we are than who we say we are. Itís time to bring the moral equation into the picture. A nation without a moral compass is nothing more than a collection of economic and social relations without a soul. Weíre better than that."

From The Huffington Post

I'd like to remind everyone that the government gladly accepts personal donations, just send all you can !

Buried under all the heated rhetoric is a moral test for America. In some respects, it is reminiscent of the deep divisions that marked the national discourse that led to end of slavery in the 19th century.
Oh, please.

I am SO tired of these pro illegal apologists trying to equate amnesty and the "struggle for legal status" with the American Civil Rights movement

Isn't it funny how they hold the U.S. to higher moral standards than other countries? We are supposed to be so moral superior that we are supposed to commit national suicide all in the name of humanitarism. God, I think I am going to be sick!

You hard hearted people. You have no clue how hard the life of a criminal is.
Hunted by the police.
Exploited by the system.
Under paid for the crimes committed.
How is an illegal expected to find happiness under these conditions?

Comparing illegals who will give $5,000 to the cartel to smuggle them in illegally with slaves who had no choice at all is beyond ridiculous.

The same who will then claim that the reason they didn't even attempt to apply for a visa was because they couldn't afford the application fees.
