Latino leaders swirl around idea of Tequila Party - Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 | 2 a.m. - Las Vegas Sun

So they are frustrated that they aren't getting their way on immigration reform/amnesty yet so they may form their own political party? Sounds like reconquista is coming out of the closet now.

Nothing like a little hubris is there? Do they REALLY think they're a majority already?

Hispanics have proved to be a powerful political force in Nevada and nationally. They were instrumental in electing President Barack Obama
and once again, even when they round on anti-illegals as "racists" for using the term Hispanics, when it suits THEM, that's what they rally behind LOL

Tequila doesn't stand for anything except an alcoholic drink.
I don't see the purpose.

The tea party has American roots dating back to the founding & creation of this country.

Damn the reconquistas. They'll have Speedy Gonzalez as President and tacos in place of hot dogs at Yankee Stadium any day now.

Hmm... a new POLITICAL party that's ONLY FOR ONE PARTICULAR ETHNICITY.

Is that right? Ethnocentrism! Can't call it "racism" cause they're not a "so-called race"

It ain't gonna happen, I'll tell you that much. Never.

True.

They claim it's their answer to the "Tea Party" movement. If it was they wouldn't be dividing along ethnicity.

Seems to me they want to see just how much of the envelope they can push. Amazing that one Ethnic group, thinks that they are above all others. What else will they come to expect from us.
