Press Release Angers Dream Amnesty Sponsor
For National Release
December 21, 2010

Quote:
Close inspection of HR 5281, which was defeated in the Senate by a narrow margin, finds a blanket waiver provision on page 5 line 21 Sec. 6 (a)(2). Immediately following all of the promises in the bill that only illegal aliens who claim they are under 30, claim they have been in the US 5 years, and claim they were brought here by others when they were under 16, and claim they are going to college or into the military, the waiver allows all of these considerations to be dropped.

But, the DREAM Act is only for deserving “children” of illegal aliens who meet "stringent" requirements. More dirty tricks. Thankfully, this travesty didn’t pass.

Which is why so many good bills turn into bad bills. The built in loopholes. In this case a bad bill was made even worse. Now why would they add such a loophole unless they had intentions to use it?

I just read the bill and under the exemptions clause it says if you fail to meet the criteria within the alloted time you may be allowed to apply for a hardship exemption if it would be detremental that you leave. Do you suppose these people would have any kids in the allotted 10 years that may suffer a hardship if their parents were forced to leave? Good gosh, what a farce! They don't have to complete ANY criteria, it's all BS!!!

So much hysteria and drama. Nothing stops these kids from attending college in their own home countries. They may actually find they like their country. Many American college students jump at the chance to study in a foreign country, learn other cultures - yet these people don't even want the chance to discover their own homeland and rediscover their own culture.

Illegal immigration is like seawater pouring through cracks in the hull of a ship. The DREAM Act was the equivalent of ignoring one of the leaks thinking some seawater onboard is okay. It is not okay and it is especially not okay when we are in an economic storm and some of the passengers are wearing life vests.

....this time

The duplicitous machinations of far too many of our "Leaders"---who stonewall the will of citizens, and run interference for foreign scofflaws---assures that this "travesty" will be reintroduced.

As in 'Return of the Living Dead', the malefactors, intent on undermining and betraying this Nation, will not rest, until they infect and overwhelm beleaguered citizens and patriots.

America is under seige on many fronts---and the endless necessity of dodging bullets from the brain-dead Zombies running this Country into the ground, is a terrible commentary of the battles we face

....and must not lose.

I never really posted on that forum before or paid much attention to it, but I am pretty happy and impressed to see the effort they put into getting Durbin to actually have to take some action.

Thats a very good forum, they are ontop of these issues.
We all knew the dream act was nothing more than a mass blanket amnesty.
