E-verify is not a threat to immigrants. It's a threat to illegal aliens. Big difference.

I live in Kansas, and my employer uses every tool available to us to prevent employment of illegal aliens. We currently have two illegal aliens employed; they have impeccable paper. I'm not sure E-verify goes far enough to ensure illegal aliens are not hired.

From what you've said about your employer, if he knows he's employing 2 illegals, why are they still employed?
