Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

A great motivator to get things moving in the right direction. They should put that money toward their pension plans so taxpayers aren't stuck with it.

I hope this isn't just an HSI/ICE public relations ploy. Many more companies need to be taken to task to start to cover the costs associated with these illegals.

~ 11-22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments.
~ 2.5 billion spent on medicaid for illegals
~ 20-25% of all federal prison inmates are illegals
~ 90 billion spent on illegal aliens for welfare and social services
~ In 2006 illegal aliens sent home 45 billion in remittances to their countries of origin.
~ 12 billion a year spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally.

These fines could be used in lieu of taxes on good hard working law abiding citizens and legal immigrants. No one is going to feel bad if someone who trafficked in humans in order to profit from dirt cheap labor gets it socked to them. Even the elitist housewife who thinks she is too good to wash her own dishes but doesn't wish to pay legal wages and benefits to employ someone legally should be hit hard where it hurts most. Asset forfeiture. After all it's only greed and arrogance that has these employers want their ultra cheap servants.

Actually it was a $21 million dollar fine for 2006 and earlier. But since they made $37 million dollars net profit in 2006. How much of a dent did it really make? So now that they are using only legal workers, their net profits are now only $19 million dollars (numbers listed for US market only). So basically they charged them for only one year and nobody went to jail at IFCO.

Nationally they found 6000 illegal aliens at 40 locations.
