seems to me the GOP is doing at great job a social program [as well as corporate] handouts, which had us at a Budget deficit of ...

With projected receipts less than projected outlays, the budget proposed by President Bush predicts a net deficit of approximately $400 billion dollars, adding to a United States governmental debt of about $11.4 trillion. Actual tax receipts totaled approximately $2.1 trillion - significantly less than the $2.7 trillion expected. The actual deficit in 2009 was $1.4 trillion.

this statement is just plain uninformed... And to slurry all Latinos in this manner is beyond ridiculous.
You know, you keep telling other people that their posts are off-topic or unproductive, but all you do is ignore common knowledge. You ask, "What laws are Latinos (there's no quotes needed) asking anyone to disregard?" Do you have your eyes open in this issue from BOTH sides? Or are you only wanting to notice what you don't agree with? Because if you actually opened your eyes to both sides, you'd see that many Latinos and Latino groups have been pleading for amnesty for illegal immigrants. That right there is the most obvious example of how Latinos have been asking the federal government to disregard laws, immigration laws. You can see it in pretty much any article that pleads to the government in defense of illegal immigrants. How is that not asking someone to disregard a law? Isn't saying, "Please don't deport us," asking the federal government to disregard a law?

Why do you ask these questions?

Exactly what I was thinking because my first question was: Who are the GOP leaders that said these things? There must be certain ones with backgrounds in immigration that said it and sure enough it was former President George W. Bush's brother in FLORIDA that is one of the people. So, it was like, "Go figure." We all know how former President Bush felt about illegal immigration, his past impact on it and also Jeb's views down in Florida.
