It impugns the integrity of the child. The parents already have more than enough derogatory terms. The term was coined to seek supporters to change the 14 amendment, so it is negatively charged against the child.
Hogwash. Life here should be difficult for crimmigrants. If they don't like it they can leave or not come illegally in the first place. If someone insulted a bank robber would you take exception to that? Oh...wait it wasn't robbery.....it was an "undocumented withdrawal"

If anchor baby is such a non-offensive term, why does everyone in this forum defend Michelle Malkin when I point out that she is one?

Usually with any crime there are negative connotations attached to it and those involved or any way related.

If someone is tossed a bag of cash by someone running out of a bank, and keeps it, well they might be labeled.

The word anchor amply fits the situation. The illegal parents think they can anchor themselves unto our country by giving birth to an instant citizen. It is a reflection on the parents act not the newborns. Who has ever said that the child is hated? That is just the usual exaggerations and smears by the ethnocentric left. Who has ever said that illegal entry into our country is as serious a crime as murder? That is just the usual exaggerations and lies by the ethnocentric left.

No, it impugns the integrity of the parents, not the child. The propaganda and lies to smear pro-law's Ameicans marches on.

Read this load and then remember the businesses busted that ICE allowed the mothers to stay because they had ANCHORS.

You can shed a tear for them but the rest of us living in reality will continue to use the term. Perhaps the parents "impugns" the child's integrity by invading a sovereign nation with the intent of having a baby that will anchor it to this country. I have zero sympathy for these ILLEGAL criminals who come here intentionally breaking the law and then whining about it when they get called up. Go back to Mexico and cry, don't do it on American tax dollars.

Sure, any knocked up illegal woman can cross the border today, drop anchor tomorrow and say she been here for 5 years.

They need to check and see how old her stretch marks are.
