It said Barnett threatened to sic his large dog on 24 migrants while they rested and that he kicked a woman while she lay, terrified, on the ground. Four women in the group sued.

"This decision vindicates constitutional guarantees for all," the group's president, Thomas Saenz, said in a statement Friday. "Even in Arizona, vigilantes do not have the right to harass and victimize peaceful migrants."
Barnett lost the lawsuit because he kicked, threatened, harassed and pointed the gun at illegal immigrants. Some of these "Shawna Forde Patriotic wannabes" think they can get away with this type of abuse. I've got news, three judge panel of the 9th Circuit Courts of Appeal has upheald the ruling against Roger Barnett.

Well good...Barnett admitted he used his dog and his gun to intimidate the illegal immigrants.

You would believe an American over anyone wouldn't you?

So what if he did? No, we would believe law abiding Americans over lawbreaking illegal aliens.

A rancher has the right to protect his property. Kicking someone without provocation however is a different story. "Peaceful immigrants"? They were illegal aliens trespassing on his property.

So if a CRIMINAL comes into my house and I try to somehow defend myself by pointing my gun at him, and "detaining" him. I am in the WRONG?!!?

I agree that the rancher had every right to protect his property. What I do not agree with is the abuse toward them. Hopefully this will teach a lesson to those of the likes of Shawna Forde and Barnett that these people have the right to be treated like "humans" and abuse will no longer be tolerated.

Shawna Forde and her ilk are a completely different story since they are being accused of murder. Their motives were completely different also. They were looking to steal money from a drug dealer and they took it too far by killing him and his daughter and that is what they are on trial for. Barnett was no vigilante. He was merely protecting his own property.
