Last month, Los Angeles Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich released data from the Department of Public Social Services which showed that in November 2010, $53 million in welfare benefits ($22 million CalWORKs and $31 million in Food Stamps) were issued to illegal aliens for their U.S.-born children in Los Angeles County.
The record amount was an increase of almost $3 million from November 2009, and represents 22 percent of all CalWORKs and Food Stamp issuances in L.A. county.
I'm sure the integrity of the moral aliens will prevent them from using some if not most of that aid rendered.
It's not legal for illegal immigrants to receive social services, technically. I don't know how they're getting them.
Let me explain it for you. Illegal Mom jumps the border to give birth on US soil thus producing a US citizen. Armed with this she goes to the local services office and applies for aid. Aid that is intended for the citizen. She collects money, food stamps, health care and numerous other benefits. Now, that Mother controls ALL those benefits. That child doesn't live alone. That Child doesn't eat alone. The rent that is subsidized, the groceries bought with the food stamps, all the benefits are benefitting the illegal too. And if the illegal wants more, she just has another child at our expense for us to support as well.
Multiply this by 6 and you can end up with a pretty nice set up. One that the US taxpayer is paying for. In addition to these benefits, there's a guy somewhere producing these children. He's likely to be working under the table somewhere , not paying taxes, and has no expenses (or very little) since we are supporting his family. Add that money to the benefits and it's a life that very few HONEST people can afford.
Maybe you can afford this. I can't.

Why not? It's a rule that's in place for legal immigrants.

The solution is much simpler (note I didn't say easier). We deport Mom and she takes her child(ren) with her to her country of origin. At 18 years old, the citizens of the USA can return. As a penalty for entering our country illegally, the Mom who created this situation is not eligible to be sponsored for citizenship.

That's why illegals who supposedly come here to take nothing but the lowest paying jobs are having many children and at very young ages. There's no way that even illegals are smart enough to support huge families on less than minimum wages. Of course they get welfare handouts - but they have to get them through their children.

They should NOT be working here. They did not apply for or pay THE FEES FOR or receive a green card. That's because they aren't allowed to because they ARE ILLEGAL. If they are working, they are doing so illegally.I'm so sick and tired of reading (on other threads) that the illegals WORK and pay taxes. Or that the parents are WORKING and therefore their kids should be entitled to.........whatever. They are working ILLEGALLY and should be deported.
