Of course not. That is a grave violation of the Hippocratic oath. The hospital should be brought up on charges for allowing this.

You can legally stabilize someone so they can go home and get care later.
Nothing says they have to do any operation unless they were going to die right there and then.
Is the person dead right now or screaming for USA taxpayer money to ALSO pay for their life?

Actually at the end of the article it states she is at Ben Taub Hospital, which is the County Hospital for Houston, so the taxpayers are footing the bill...Surprise Surprise!!!

We can't afford to care for the world's sick, that person just probably took some older American woman's cancer treatment to fund this lady's care.
