So by your logic, any American that purchases their petroleum products from CITCO is sponsoring terrorists and enabling illegal aliens...

But in fact there's nothing ordinary about Citgo. One of the USA's largest refiners, Citgo is a subsidiary of Venezuela's state-owned oil company, Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA). As such, it ultimately belongs to Venezuelan President Hugo ChŠvez, an avowedly anti-American leader who counts Fidel Castro among his closest friends and mocks President Bush as a "genocidal murderer."

I live in Maryland, and it is common knowledge that Casa de Maryland is an advocacy group for Hispanic immigrants AND Hispanic illegal aliens.

You stand corrected then. The OP is the original poster, the person who started the thread. And they did assert that Chavez donates $1 million per year.

The OP did. I didnít. I merely posted a link to THIS contribution. Citgo is a Chavez-controlled company. Does it really matter whether itís an annual or one-time donation? Moreover, it does beg the question of whether other less-than-friendly nations may be providing financial assistance to illegal alien advocates.
