By the way, this is the illegal immigration forum so your last paragraph is off topic.

Thank you for your last paragraph. Some just do not get it do they, this is the problem we face each and every day. Tired of this.

And don't put words in my mouth I never said that many are killed that jump the fence either. Those are your views, not mine. The Border Patrol has the right to use violent force if they are being threatened by an illegal alien such as those who throw rocks at them.

Just what is your trip in here? Seems like your mission is to demonize this country for one thing or another while throwing in an occasional compliment. I will repeat again that this is the illegal immigration forum not the "let's bring up the bad things about the U.S." forum. Take it elsewhere.

Thank you again, seems exactly like what soneone is trying to do here, is to demonize our Country and our border patrol agents, and i don't like it. Sorry but illegals do not belong here period, have no pity for those who break our laws, and stuff it in our faces.

Thank you, and how true, thanks for the truth. You know darn well the Mexican's would be going bersek, and and their President, wanting who was responsible, held accountable.

Why would you compare two countries-one that is fighting a war on drugs and the other is not? When a country is at war, its obvious people are going to die. That is why it is a very bad decision for DHS to send two agents on duty to San Luis Potosi. A state that is no where near the border. As an American, I think we have the right to complain to our government for placing these two agents at risk. If I were you, I too would be wondering what the agents were doing there. Its not about demonizing the U.S. I think its a valid concern for our citizens and agents serving our country. The DHS has no business placing the agents safety at risk.

And I am sure we could start listing the murders by natives. Manson comes immediately to mind. But there are a few thousand others if you really want to go there.
Zacaterana, I was responding to this post, which I quoted in my post. How'd you miss that?

It really accomplishes zilch to have ICE way down there. No amount of inspection of cartons that far in will guarantee contraband won't be added 500, 400, 200, 100, 1 mile down the road.

They claim it's too difficult to control a 2000 mile line but yet they think they can control a much larger area?

It makes sense to get the agents on the border itself and do something about it, if the excuse is that they're doing some kind of ICE activities way way into Mexico - it's a stupid excuse. Mexico doesn't need ICE agents. We do.

That would be a good idea. Then Mexico can't scream racism at the US anymore. (Plus those Mexican immigration laws are pretty strict.)

in that order and since most of it takes place in Mexico why would it be "big headlines" in the US? It's big news about these agents because they are US agents.
Nope, I am talking about the ones I posted before in this thread where a ranchers would kill them, the border patrol, etc. like the American rancher who approached this car and opened fire to the illegal immigrants in there, including children. Of course you won’t hear about those news even if they occurred in the USA since those are “unimportant” news.
